In general, anti-static clothing is washed at least once a week, and some high-demand jobs are even washed once a day. When cleaning in an ordinary room, it will adhere to dust and bacteria, as well as contamination by cleaning agents. In addition, there is a danger of dust and microorganisms adhering during packing and handling.

The items that should be paid attention to during the cleaning process of anti-static clothing are as follows:

(1) Newly-sealed anti-static clothing can be directly washed, and the anti-static clothing that is recycled can be found to be oily. The oil should be carefully removed before washing.

(2) Check the accessories such as scratches, damages and buckles before washing, and repair, replace or scrap the defective ones.

(3) For anti-static clean clothing, it must be cleaned, dried, and bundled in a clean room with a higher purification level than a clean room using such a garment.

(4) The water for wet and dry cleaning is filtered, and the solvent is also distilled, and a filter having a pore diameter of less than 0.2 μm is used at the point of use, and more than one filtration is performed as needed.

(5) In order to remove water-soluble contaminants, after washing with water, the solvent is used for final washing to remove oily contaminants.

(6) The temperature of the wet washing water is as follows: polyester cloth 60-70C (up to 70C); nylon cloth 50-55C (up to 60C).

(7) Anti-static clothing with buckles should be washed in the buckled state.

(8) Drying in a clean air circulation system dedicated to washing.
