Antistatic Products Protect Industrial Products

In modern industrial manufacturing environments, workers frequently encounter hazards such as flames, high temperatures, molten metal, and corrosive chemicals. Antistatic products offer significant protection in these situations. Here's a brief introduction to some commonly used antistatic products:

1. Antistatic Clothing and Antistatic Wrist Straps

Antistatic clothing and wrist straps are crucial components of a human antistatic system. They eliminate or control the generation of static electricity on the human body, thereby reducing the primary source of static electricity in manufacturing processes.

Antistatic clothing includes antistatic coveralls, antistatic two-piece suits, and antistatic lab coats. The main principle of antistatic clothing is to eliminate static electricity on the clothing through the corona discharge and leakage effect of conductive fibers.

Antistatic wrist straps are essential antistatic products for operators handling electronic components. Through a grounding path, they safely discharge static charges carried by the human body. They consist of an antistatic elastic band, snaps, a spring cord, a protective resistor, and a plug or clip. The inner layer of the elastic band is woven with antistatic yarn, while the outer layer is woven with ordinary yarn.

2. Antistatic Packaging and Transportation Products

Antistatic packaging products are numerous, such as antistatic shielding bags, antistatic packaging bags, antistatic sponges, antistatic IC packaging tubes, antistatic component boxes, antistatic turnover boxes, antistatic bubble wrap, and antistatic turnover carts. Besides using electrostatic conductors for antistatic shielding, most of these packaging products are made of electrostatic dissipative materials, while some are made of antistatic materials. Their purpose is to provide electrostatic protection for the circuits, devices, and printed circuits they contain.

3. Antistatic Flooring and Antistatic Mats

Antistatic flooring and antistatic mats are also indispensable in electrostatic protection engineering. Antistatic flooring comes in various types, categorized by duration (permanent or temporary), material (conductive rubber, PVC, conductive ceramic, etc.), and installation method (directly laid on the ground or raised access flooring). The choice depends on actual needs and cost. For environments requiring multiple cables and conduits on the ground, such as computer environments, raised access flooring is preferable.

Antistatic table mats are primarily made of antistatic composite rubber sheets and are mainly used for matting tabletops, assembly line work surfaces, shelves, and making floor mats. The surface layer is grass green, with an antistatic agent as the conductive material; the bottom layer is black, with carbon black as the conductive material.
