The reason anti-static clothing is dust-proof and anti-static is because it's made of anti-static cleanroom fabric, which has excellent dust-proof and anti-static properties. Therefore, choosing the right fabric is crucial for producing high-performance anti-static clothing.
1. The ESD fabric itself must not generate dust. Since it's worn in a cleanroom, the fabric must not be a source of dust. This dictates that cleanroom fabrics can only be produced using chemically synthesized long fibers.
2. The ESD fabric should have durable and highly effective anti-static properties.
3. The ESD fabric must have good dust filtration properties. Improving dust filtration comes at the cost of fabric breathability; therefore, knitted fabrics and loosely woven fabrics are unsuitable for cleanrooms.
