Daily cleaning specifications for anti-static shoes
Cleaning methods and requirements
Manual cleaning: Use a soft brush and neutral detergent (such as laundry detergent or special detergent), the water temperature should not exceed 40℃, and avoid using detergents containing alcohol, acid, alkaline or enzyme ingredients.
Machine washing is prohibited: Washing with a washing machine can easily cause the conductive material of the sole to break or the glue to debond, affecting the anti-static performance and shoe structure.
Rinse and dry: After fully rinsing the residual detergent, place it in a cool and ventilated place to dry. Exposure or drying equipment is prohibited.
Targeted treatment of different materials
Leather upper: Wipe stains with a damp cloth and apply leather care agent regularly to avoid cracking.
Fabric upper: Scrub gently to avoid damaging the anti-static fiber layer.

2. Storage and transportation precautions
Storage environment
Place in a dry and ventilated warehouse to avoid moisture causing mildew or high temperature causing glue aging.
When stored for a long time, fill the shoes with newspapers or soft objects to maintain the shoe shape and keep away from chemical solvents.
Transport protection
The packaging must be complete, avoid direct sunlight or high temperature environment, and do not drag the upper when transporting.
3. Maintenance points during use
Dressing requirements
Matching specifications : When wearing anti-static shoes, you must wear cotton socks. Do not wear insulating wool socks or use insulating insoles.
Contact with the ground : Make sure the working floor is an anti-static floor and there is no insulating material (such as oil stains, plastic debris) attached to the sole.
Regular inspection and maintenance
Resistance detection : Test the sole resistance every 100 hours or every month. If it is less than 10⁵Ω, it must be replaced immediately.
Glue status check : Observe whether the glue is open at the bonding point of the sole. If abnormalities are found, return to the factory for repair or replacement in time.
4. Replacement standards and cycles
Service life
It is recommended to replace it every 6-12 months under normal conditions, and shorten it to 3-6 months in frequent use or high-intensity scenarios.
Performance failure signs
The sole is severely worn, the resistance value exceeds the standard (<10⁴Ω or >10⁹Ω), or the glue falls off over a large area.
5. Scenarios Maintenance Recommendations
Cleanroom: Clean the soles with sticky mats daily, and deep clean 1-2 times a week.
Chemical environment: Remove chemical residues from the upper immediately after operation to avoid corrosion of conductive materials.
Through standardized cleaning, reasonable storage and regular testing, the service life of anti-static cold-adhesive shoes can be maximized to ensure that their electrostatic protection function is stable and reliable.
