Enforcing electrostatic standards is better than increasing investment
Recently, I often receive calls from customers saying: "The production site produces a very high static voltage, and now we need to make rectification." Some customers are because they went online to inspect the factory and found that the production site cannot meet the requirements of commercial products. Rectification is forced, and some customers call to say that we have done all the electrostatic protection that should be done at the production site, but it still does not meet the requirements of the OEM. I don’t know what to do? The reason for the negation of the foundry is that the voltage measured at the production site is very high, which does not meet the processing of producing excellent products. After understanding, the current reasons for the lack of electrostatic protection are as follows:
1. Human body protection products do not meet the requirements, and high static voltage is generated on the workers
2. The electrostatic grounding is not connected. This is the *fatal and *critical link
3. The turnover container does not meet the standard, for example: the anti-static turnover box is unqualified
4. The electrostatic grounding of the turnover vehicle is ignored during the turnover process of the product in the workshop
5. The mat on the workbench is not well grounded, and the static electricity generated during the production process cannot be released.
6. The use of electrostatic products that do not meet the requirements can not discharge static electricity well or generate voltage during use.
7. Failure to do a systematic inspection of the static discharge path, that is, whether the anti-static discharge meets the standard, and there is no normal inspection work.
8. Use electricians as ESD engineers and install ground wires. This is a joke most often heard by many electronics factories.
9. There is no testing equipment equipped with resistance and voltage, and you can listen to the lies of the supplier at will
10. Buy cheap products without taking quality seriously
The above points are usually encountered by many customers. In fact, as long as one of them is not in place, it may threaten the safety of the product. If everyone can implement the static electricity standard at the production site and implement it in place, the product quality must be guaranteed.
