Anti-static clothing production process

The production process of anti-static clothing combines precision material science and rigorous process control. The main processes are as follows:

I. Core production process

Design and pattern making

Design the pattern according to ergonomics and protection needs, taking into account anti-static functionality and wearing comfort ("fashionization of workwear").

Fabric processing

Painting pattern: accurately draw the design pattern on the anti-static fabric to optimize fabric utilization.

Multi-layer fabric laying: layer the fabric according to the order quantity to improve cutting efficiency.

Cutting and shaping

Special tools cut parts (such as cuffs and body) according to the pattern to ensure that the edges are flat and burr-free to reduce the risk of static electricity.

Sewing process

Use conductive sewing thread, and the conductive yarn must be strictly aligned in key parts (such as seams and zippers).

Reduce the number of seams and use continuous sewing to reduce resistance.

Ironing and shaping

High-temperature ironing makes the clothing flat and firm to avoid wrinkles affecting the protective performance.

Quality inspection

Appearance inspection and thread processing

Core parameter test: charge (≤0.6μC/set), point-to-point resistance (10⁵-10¹¹Ω), etc., in line with the national standard GB12014-2019.

Packaging and storage ‌

Vacuum or plastic packaging to prevent transportation pollution.

2. Key material selection

Fabric type ‌ Features ‌ Application scenario ‌

Conductive fiber blending Polyester/cotton + carbon fiber/metal fiber, durable static electricity Electronics, semiconductor industry

Anti-static dust-free ultra-clean fabric Polyester filament + conductive yarn, low dust generation rate Chip manufacturing, biomedical clean room

Metal fiber blending Stainless steel/silver fiber, high conductivity Military, petrochemical high-risk environment

️ 3. Process precautions

Prohibited metal accessories ‌: Zippers/buttons need to be treated with anti-static or replaced with non-metallic materials.

Lining restrictions ‌: The area does not exceed 20% of the inner surface of the garment.

Washing requirements ‌: Avoid strong mechanical friction, and re-measure the charge after washing.

4. Quality assurance basis

Conductive fiber layout: spacing ≤10mm to ensure uniform dissipation of charge.

Grounding design: The jumpsuit needs to form a complete grounding loop through a wrist strap/anti-static shoes.

This process achieves safe discharge of electrostatic charge through material innovation and process precision control to ensure safe production in precision industries.
