Guidelines for Packaging, Storage, Transport, and Maintenance of Anti-static Shoes
Anti-static shoes are protective footwear designed to reduce or eliminate static electricity hazards; they are worn in production workshops and advanced laboratories within microelectronics industries-such as semiconductor, laser, computer, electronic communication equipment, and integrated circuit manufacturing. Please note the following regarding this product:
1. Packaging, Storage, and Transport
During transport, the shoes must be covered; the packaging must not be damaged, and exposure to direct sunlight or high temperatures must be avoided. Dragging the shoes using hooks during handling is strictly prohibited.
Anti-static shoes should be stored in a dry, well-ventilated warehouse to prevent mold or deterioration. During storage, they must be kept at least 200mm away from the floor and walls, and at least 1 meter away from any heat sources. Avoid direct sunlight and do not store them outdoors.
Appropriate amounts of moth-proofing agents should be included during packaging and storage.
2. Maintenance and Care
It is best to clean anti-static shoes using a neutral detergent. Do not wash them with other garments; use hand washing or a gentle machine cycle to prevent the conductive fibers from breaking. The water temperature should be below 40°C, and rinsing should be done with clean water at ambient temperature. Keep the washing time as short as possible, but ensure thorough rinsing to remove any residual detergent. For anti-static workwear that also features flame-retardant or oil-resistant properties, do not use bleaching agents or organic solvents for cleaning.
