ESD Sensitive Symbol: The ESD Sensitive Symbol is a hand inserted into a triangle with a slash to indicate that an electrical or electronic device or component is susceptible to damage from an ESD event. The ESD sensitivity symbol is applied to components and equipment that are sensitive to ESD events.
ESD Static Protection Symbol: This symbol is applied to electrostatic protection materials in ESD protected areas, such as work clothes, seats, work surface materials, tools and equipment, packaging materials or personnel grounding equipment. This symbol means that this item is protected against static electricity.
