According to the requirements of the computer grounding system in the national standard "Computer Technical Requirements", computing stations generally have the following types of grounds:


The DC ground of the computer system; the resistance value is not more than 1Ω.

AC working ground; the resistance value is not more than 4Ω.

Safety protection ground; resistance value is not more than 4Ω.

Anti-static grounding; resistance value is not more than 4Ω.

Lightning protection ground; the resistance value is not more than 10Ω.

The so-called grounding refers to connecting a certain point in the circuit or a certain metal shell with the ground with a wire. The goal is to facilitate the flow of ground current. Therefore, the lower the ground resistance, the easier the ground current flows. In addition, for the grounding of electronic computer systems, it is also desirable to minimize potential fluctuations that cause noise. So the ground resistance is also as low as possible.
