How to prevent static electricity from rubber products

Under the action of movement, stress and friction, rubber products are liable to generate charge accumulation and carry static electricity. After the surface of the product is charged with static electricity, it will not only absorb a large amount of dust and oil, which will affect the appearance of the product, but also affect the performance of the product. The aging of the surface may even cause spark discharge, causing fire or explosion of surrounding flammable and explosive substances, resulting in a safety accident. Therefore, in the current large-scale use of rubber and other polymer materials, static electricity hazards should attract people's attention.
Methods to prevent electrostatic hazards: on the one hand, to reduce or prevent friction as much as possible, and on the other hand, to find ways to eliminate surface static electricity. There are many ways to eliminate static electricity on the surface of rubber products. For example, use a conductive device to eliminate static electricity during processing, increase the humidity of the air in the product processing and use environment, and modify the rubber structure with polar or ionized groups. Oxidants to oxidize the surface, change the surface properties, add or spray antistatic agents on the surface of rubber conveyor belt products. The most common method is to add an antistatic agent, so that the static electricity generated is continuously leaked to prevent static electricity from accumulating.
