Introduction to the role of electrostatic bars

Antistatic rods or industrial static eliminators will generate an electric field, which causes air molecules near the rod to decompose into positive and negative ions. Because of the opposite charge attraction, any charged material passing through the rod will attract ions until the charge on the material is neutralized. The ionization rod produces negatively and positively charged ions, so regardless of polarity, recombination occurs on the material. These materials will no longer attract each other or adsorb to machine parts. Avoid dust, explosion or fire hazards and electric shock caused by static discharge.

Choosing the correct static rod is not easy, but we will help you make the right choice among various solutions for antistatic rods. We provide a wide range of products, choose the right solution, here will support industrial static eliminators.

The anti-static bar consists of a series of ionization transmitter points powered by a voltage power supply unit. Antistatic rods can also be used in applications that require long-distance neutralization. To help you choose the right anti-static strip, please refer to the table below to compare specific features. (click to zoom in)

Finding the correct type of ionization rod is not easy. There are many parameters that affect the choices you need to make. In addition to the distance and speed in the machine, the proximity of the metal is very important. Similarly, before choosing the correct type of electrostatic rod, the current level of static electricity or electrostatic charge on the material is also very important. To understand the charge and polarity, you can use our FMX-004 field instrument.
