Product Usage Specifications in the Electrostatic Protection Area
1. Electrostatic Safety Workbench: It consists of a workbench, an anti-static table mat, a wrist strap connector, and a grounding wire.
2. There should be more than two wrist strap connectors on the anti-static table mat, one for operators, one for technicians, and inspectors.
3. Plastic boxes, erasers, cardboard, glass, and other sundries that are prone to static electricity are not allowed to be stacked on the electrostatic safety workbench. Drawings and materials should be placed in anti-static document bags.
4. Anti-static wristband: People who directly contact electrostatic sensitive devices must wear anti-static wristbands. The wristband should have good contact with human skin, and the resistance value of the wristband system to the ground should be 1MΩ.
5. Anti-static container: Component material bags, turnover boxes, PCB loading and unloading racks, etc. in the production site should have electrostatic protection. Metal and ordinary containers are not allowed. All containers must be grounded.
6. Anti-static work clothes: People who enter the electrostatic work area and those who come into contact with SMD components must wear anti-static work clothes, especially in a dry environment with a relative humidity of less than 50% (such as winter). The fabric of the work clothes should comply with relevant national standards.
7. People who enter the work area must wear anti-static work shoes. People who wear ordinary shoes should use conductive shoe straps, anti-static shoe covers or heel straps.
8. The conveyor belts and drive shafts used on the production line should be equipped with anti-static grounding brushes and support rods.
9. Ion wind static eliminators can be used on the surface of the conveyor belt.
10. Assembly fixtures, test fixtures, welding tools, various instruments, etc. used in the production site should all be equipped with good grounding wires.
11. An anti-static test bench should be installed at the entrance of the production site. Every person entering the production site should undergo an anti-static test and can enter the site only after passing the test.
