Six Principles for Controlling Static Electricity in Screen Printing
1. The workpiece itself is already charged. In this case, use a static eliminator to treat the surface before screen printing. The method is simple: simply use the static eliminator to eliminate static electricity on the workpiece surface, and printing can begin after treatment.
2. Screen printing plastic workpieces are charged with static electricity. Antistatic agents can be added to the plastic formula beforehand, but this requires the plastic raw material supplier to complete the process.

3. Static electricity can also be eliminated by applying an antistatic coating to the surface of the static-charged workpiece.
4. Use ink solvents appropriately. Even if the ink solvent mixes well, a more conductive solvent can be used to adjust the ink viscosity.
5. Ground the workpiece away from the screen printing equipment to release the charge and eliminate static electricity.
6. In screen printing workshops without humidity control measures, sprinkle water on the floor during low-humidity seasons. This method regulates the humidity of the screen printing environment as the moisture evaporates from the floor. This method is commonly used in simple production units without humidity control equipment. In addition to regulating humidity, it also helps prevent dust.

In short, the generation and elimination of static electricity should be analyzed according to specific situations and conditions and corresponding measures should be taken to ensure that printing work can continue conveniently and smoothly while ensuring product quality.
