Some maintenance methods for ion fans

The main function of the ion fan is to remove static electricity and have superior static elimination performance to prevent electrostatic pollution and damage. The ion fan is an ideal device for personal electrostatic protection areas such as electronic production lines and maintenance stations.
one. Ion fan overview:
The ion fan discharge needle is made of a metal material, and is generally made of a corrosion-resistant material such as stainless steel (SUS), metal iridium (Ge), nickel (Ni), titanium (Ti), or metal tungsten (W). Widely used, metal tungsten is more resistant to wear and corrosion than stainless steel. It is widely used because ion lamp discharge needle will be polluted after long-term use, which directly affects the static elimination performance and ion balance, so it should be cleaned regularly during use. The electric electrode part, especially the DC type discharge dog discharge needle is more susceptible to contamination, which is more frequent than the AC type discharger cleaning, and the degree of wear of the positive and negative discharge needles is different, and periodic ion balance detection is required, and the discharge needle wears. When the degree is serious, the discharge needle should be replaced in time.

two. Ion fan maintenance steps:
According to the working principle of the ion fan static eliminator, the working state of the ion fan is closely related to the performance of the product production. The performance of the ion fan also restricts the quality and efficiency of the product. An ion blower requires professional tracking and regular maintenance and maintenance, so professional maintenance methods need to be extended.
1. Turn the ion fan clockwise to turn the governor switch to the indicator light, that is, turn on the fan, generate ion airflow, increase the fan wind speed, turn the governor switch clockwise; adjust to the “off” position indicator , indicating that the ion fan is turned off. To adjust the airflow direction, loosen the bracket plum screw, tilt the body to adjust the up and down position, and then tighten the bracket screw. Clean the ion emitter, rotate the head of the cleaning head clockwise to stop, and then turn it repeatedly until it is clean.
2. The wind speed and static time of the ion fan are determined by various factors. The two most important reasons are the distance of the ion fan and the wind speed. The air ions are constantly neutralized with each other, and the cations and anions are attracted to each other by static electricity to form a transfer of these charges and recombine. High wind speeds enable them to neutralize further away, and the greater the wind speed, the faster the neutralization. When using an ion fan for electronic assembly, the ionized airflow should cover the working area as much as possible, so that the positive and negative charges on the surface of the object can be well neutralized to maintain neutralization.
3. The ion fan cleans the launching point of the transmitter. Rotate the cleaning head handle clockwise to stop and let go, then turn it repeatedly until it is clean, at least once a week. The air inlet and ionization outlets should be kept clean to prevent airflow and can be cleaned with a soft brush or compressed air.
4. Measure with a plate load monitor or use an ion tester to measure ion balance. The test instrument brand is MONROE (ME-268A) in the United States, or the ion balance meter is used to measure the ion balance (residual voltage). The ion fan output design is stable and fixed. The ion balance is offset due to factors such as voltage fluctuations, ambient air dryness, and the like.
