Three treatment methods for plastic floor construction joints
First, the seam stitching
(1) When the elastic floor is laid, the edges of the two floors overlap by about 20 mm, and then cut neatly with a knife to form a dense joint.
(2) Sealed splicing seams are not connected on either side

(3) The seams using the sealed splicing are below 1mm, and the joints are not easily noticeable. The disadvantage is that the joints will seep water, and the time is long and easy to warp and dust.
(4) Most sheets and rubber flooring (coil or sheet) are suitable for seam stitching.
(5) For places where the antibacterial requirements are not high and the use environment does not accumulate water, sealing and splicing can be used to achieve a better decorative effect.

Second, cold welding
(1) When the elastic floor is laid, use cold soldering liquid or cold solder paste to connect the floor joints.
(2) Cold welding makes the two sides of the floor joint evenly melted (heat welding is fusion)
(3) Using cold welded joints, the gap is narrower at 1mm, the cold weld has no color, and the joint is not easy to be detected. The disadvantage is that the construction is difficult.

(4) Cold welding is divided into two categories: cold soldering fluid, cold solder paste (also called caulking paste) - cold soldering fluid, suitable for PVC flooring, wallpaper with a very narrow seam (less than 1mm), PVC surface. Plate. ——Cold solder paste, suitable for indirect seams of PVC flooring, rubber flooring, wallpaper and other panels with wide seams (less than 4mm), and seams between wall and floor.
Third, hot melt welding
(1) After the elastic floor is laid, the special welding rod corresponding to the elastic floor material is used to adjust the temperature of the heat welding according to the type of the ground material.
(2) Heat welding to evenly fuse both sides of the floor joint
(3) Using the seam of heat welding, the gap width is between 3~4mm, and the seam effect can be highlighted by using different color welding lines. The disadvantage is that the welding wire is easy to crack and fall off.
(4) Elastomeric floor coils, PVC plastic flooring, conductive static floor coils and sheets can be heat welded.
(5) For the elastic floor laid on the floor heating system, it is best to use heat welding.
