What are the special requirements for the fabric of dust-free clothing?
The basic requirements of dust-free clothing and the requirements of fabric characteristics are to minimize the dust pollution of the human body, which requires that it itself cannot become a dust source, and at the same time, it must also take into account the prevention of human self-dust and anti-static generation. In order to achieve such a protective effect, there are special requirements for the fabric of dust-free clothing. Dust-free anti-static fabrics are also called anti-static ultra-clean fabrics, which are different from ordinary anti-static fabrics.
It must have the following characteristics at the same time:
A. It has anti-static function to prevent clothes from absorbing dust and being difficult to clean. At the same time, this anti-static performance must be long-lasting and efficient, and will not be attenuated due to daily washing and friction.
B. The fabric itself does not generate dust. Since it is worn in a clean room, the fabric is required not to become a dust source in the clean room. This determines that only chemically synthesized long fibers can be used for production, and natural fibers such as cotton, linen, and silk cannot be used for ultra-clean fabrics.
C. It must have good dust filtration. The dust particles in the clean room mainly come from the indoor flowing air and the moving human body. When the equipment conditions are determined, improving cleanliness means controlling the tiny dust generated by the human body in the clothes to the maximum extent possible and preventing it from being released into the air. This is the so-called highest dust filtration rate. However, improving the dust filtration rate comes at the expense of fabric and breathability, so loosely woven fabrics are not suitable for dust-free workshops.
