The air cleanliness level is expressed numerically. The higher the level, the lower the number, the higher the cleanliness, and vice versa.
Cleanliness Level 100
The number of dust particles 0.5 μm or larger is greater than 350/m³ (0.35/1) to less than or equal to 3.5 × 10³ (3.5/1).
Cleanliness Level 1000
The number of dust particles 0.5 μm or larger is greater than 3500/m³ (3.5/1) to less than or equal to 3.5 × 10³ (3.5/1). =35 × 10³ particles/m³ (35 particles/1)
Cleanliness Class 10000
The number of dust particles 0.5 μm or larger is greater than 35 × 10³ particles/m³ (35 particles/1) to less than or equal to 350 × 10³ particles/m³ (350 particles/1)
Cleanliness Class 100000
The number of dust particles 0.5 μm or larger is greater than 350 × 10³ particles/m³ (350 particles/1) to less than or equal to 3500 × 10³ particles/m³ (3500 particles/1)
