Can radiation-proof clothing be anti-static? Even the same question has been repeatedly asked by different people. The radiation protection suit uses the loop formed by the metal fiber in the clothing to generate induced current, and the reverse electromagnetic field generated by the induced current is used for shielding. Early radiation protection suits were mainly made of metal fiber blends, which were awkward and unsuitable for washing. Nowadays, most radiation protection suits are made of metal fiber mixed fabric, which can reduce or shield electromagnetic radiation and radio wave radiation.
Anti-static clothing refers to factory clothing sewn with anti-static fabric as fabric. Currently, conductive fibers are mostly used. The electricity elimination is based on two mechanisms: leakage and neutralization of charges. When grounded, the static electricity on the fabric is neutralized by the corona discharge of the conductive fiber, and can also be discharged to the ground through the conductive fiber; when it is not grounded, it is dissipated by the weak corona discharge of the conductive fiber. There are many kinds of anti-static clothing currently on the market. Due to different materials, technologies, levels, etc., anti-static effects, styles, and comfort levels are very different, so you must keep your eyes open when choosing.
