Anti-static clothing standard

1. Domestic anti-static clothing standard GB12014-2009
Applicable to anti-static clothing worn in dangerous places that may cause electric shock, fire and explosion, not suitable for anti-static clothing. Compared with foreign standards, the anti-static performance of domestic standards is mainly tested point-to-point resistance, while the EU standard has more test items.
2. EU anti-static clothing standard BS EN 1149
1. EU anti-static clothing standard BS EN 1149 is a series of standards for testing methods and requirements for electrostatic performance of protective clothing. The entire EU electrostatic protective clothing test method standard is divided into 4 parts, and the measurement items are mainly electrostatic performance, and other performances are basically not involved. BS EN 1149-1 is a test method for most of the performance of electrostatic dissipation behavior based on surface resistance. It determines the resistance at a short distance and is not suitable for evaluating the entire garment; BS EN 1149-2 is a standard for testing material resistance (loop resistance); BS EN 1149-3 is a standard for testing charge decay methods; BS EN 1149-5 specifies the performance and design requirements of antistatic materials for protective clothing.
2. The BS EN 1149 standard has more test items than the domestic standard, while the domestic standard mainly tests point-to-point resistance, which is relatively simple.
3. Since the anti-static clothing standard mainly focuses on the anti-static performance of clothing, there is no requirement for the flame retardant performance of clothing. At present, the anti-static clothing fabrics at home and abroad are mainly made of ordinary fiber spun conductive fibers or embedded with conductive filaments.
The selection of anti-static clothing should comply with the anti-static standards implemented by the factory in order to pass the inspection of the technical and quality inspection departments. Purchasers must not ignore this point.
