The anti-static wrist strap is composed of an elastic band, a movable snap button, a spring cord, a protective resistor and a plug or a chuck. The inner layer of the elastic band is woven with antistatic yarn, and the outer layer is woven with ordinary yarn, and the worker wears the wrist band when used. Wear it on your wrist, fasten the button, and the other end of the plug or the chuck is grounded, so that the static electricity of the body can be effectively released.

After using the anti-static wrist strap for a period of time, the wristband in the cheap wristband will break off and the anti-static effect will not be achieved due to the continuous stretching and bending of the wristband during this process. After the belt is touched again, the parts will be broken down or even scrapped.
The service life of the anti-static wrist strap is determined by the life of the grounding terminal. Generally, the best anti-static metal wristband bends about 60,000 times, and imports 60,000 to 100,000 times. However, domestic wristbands have many problems. For example, the elastic wristband is vulnerable, the joints are not tight enough, and the imported ones can be used for at least two years.
Fourth, anti-static wrist strap selection skills
1. The inner layer of the wrist part of a good anti-static wristband is made of silver wire, and the more the number of turns, the better the electrical conductivity;
2. The wrist strap is connected to the PU line more strongly than the PVC line, and has better resilience;
3. The internal material of the grounding wire is preferably copper wire;
4. The number of bends between the ground wire and the wrist strap can be detected by the corresponding instrument. If there is no user of the test instrument, it is recommended to obtain the corresponding third-party test report from the purchaser.
