Antistatic performance test of antistatic clothing

Antistatic is an important feature of antistatic work clothes, especially in microelectronics and other industries that require more stringent antistatic properties of clothing.

The test method can be based on the National Standard of the People’s Republic of China GB/T12703-91 "Textile Static Test Method". Because the fabric of clean work clothes is polyester filament fabric with conductive filaments, only the frictional electrification voltage (B Method), charge surface density (C method) and friction charging of work clothes (E method) are suitable for testing the antistatic performance of clean work clothes. In addition, you can also refer to the National Standard of the People's Republic of China GB/T12059-89 "Properties and Experimental Methods of Synthetic Fiber Antistatic Silk for Electronic Industry".

(1) Frictional electrification voltage method

The test principle of this method is to make the sample and the standard cloth rub against each other under a certain tension condition, and evaluate the frictional charging relationship between the wearer and the outer garment with the highest voltage and average voltage generated at this time.

The method is to clamp the sample (4 pieces, 2 warps, 2 wefts, size 4cm×8cm) on a rotating drum (outer diameter 150±1mm, width 60±1mm), and the rotating drum rotates at 400rpm Rub with a standard cloth (nylon or polypropylene), test the maximum value (V) of the charged voltage of the sample within 1 min.

(2) Charge surface density method

The sample is used after rubbing with nylon standard cloth in a specific way under specified conditions
