Differences between PGT120 and PGT120.COM Wristband Testers
PGT120 and PGT120.COM are the same series of human body grounding testers manufactured by the well-known German electrostatic brand Wolfgang Warmbier. The core difference lies in their data logging and traceability capabilities.

Specific differences are as follows: 1. Data Interface and Recording: PGT120: Standard standalone version. It can independently perform resistance tests on antistatic wristbands and footwear, providing audible and visual Pass/Fail prompts, and can directly control access control systems (such as electromagnetic locks and turnstiles). Test results are not output or saved. PGT120.COM: Advanced version equipped with a data interface. In addition to all the functions of the PGT120, it is additionally equipped with an RS232 data communication interface. It can connect to computer terminals (such as Data Terminal 2), smart card recognition devices, etc., uploading the personnel identity, time, and resistance value data of each test to the database in real time, achieving complete traceability. 2. Software and System Integration: PGT120: Cannot save any test records. If a company needs to comply with strict ESD regulations (such as ANSI/ESD S20.20 or IEC 61340-5-1), it usually has to rely on manual paper records of test results. PGT120.COM: Can be used with software such as PGT120.COM.SOFT to centrally manage multiple devices online, effectively eliminating paper records and preventing personnel from conducting tests on behalf of others. 3. Application Scenarios: PGT120: Suitable for general EPA (Electrostatic Discharge Area) access control, allowing entry only after meeting the test standards. PGT120.COM: Suitable for manufacturing plants with strict traceability requirements (such as semiconductors and precision electronics), it can be used as an employee attendance system or perfectly integrated with access control/turnstile systems, mandating that employees swipe their cards and pass a test before entering the workshop.
