EPA's temperature and humidity requirements

It is necessary to control temperature and humidity in the anti-static work area. Humidity control is a key measure for electrostatic protection. EPA's temperature and humidity control requirements:

⑴ The manufacturing and maintenance areas are areas with high risk of static electricity, and the temperature and humidity control requirements are as follows:

Temperature: 20~30℃

Relative humidity (RH): 45~75%

⑵ The temperature and humidity of other anti-static work areas should meet the general requirements:

Temperature: 20~30℃

Relative humidity (RH): 30~75%

⑶ When product materials have special requirements for environmental temperature and humidity, corresponding local environmental assurance measures should be taken according to the characteristics of the materials and actual conditions.

⑷ Thermometer and hygrometer should be equipped in EPA, and a record should be made before each shift. When the relative humidity exceeds the specified range, the process personnel must be notified to coordinate power maintenance, environmental sanitation and other departments to take appropriate humidification or dehumidification measures, such as spraying an appropriate amount of water on the ground (in compliance with safety requirements), using a humidifier or dehumidifier, etc.
