Anti-static magnifiers, simple visual optics used to observe the details of objects, are converging lenses with a focal length much smaller than the eye's photopic distance. The size of an object imaged on the retina of the human eye is proportional to the angle (viewing angle) of the object to the eye. The larger the viewing angle, the larger the image, and the better the ability to distinguish the details of the object. Moving objects closer increases the viewing angle, but is limited by the ability of the eye to focus. Use the magnifying glass, hold it close to the eye, and place the object within its focal point to create an upright virtual image. The function of the magnifying glass is to enlarge the angle of view.
How to use anti-static magnifying glass:
Observation method 1: Make the magnifying glass close to the object to be observed, the observation object does not move, the distance between the human eye and the observation object remains unchanged, and then move the hand-held magnifying glass to move back and forth between the object and the human eye until the image is large and clear.
Observation method 2: The magnifying glass is as close to the eyes as possible. Without moving the magnifying glass, move the object until the image is large and clear.
