How to detect the anti-static ground wire in the workshop
Although many electronics factories have installed anti-static grounding, they did not conduct detailed testing for compliance. It is now recommended to use equipment for testing when installing electrostatic grounding for enterprises with high requirements for static electricity. You can also ask professionals to measure.
(1) All anti-static ground wires use 6 m㎡ multi-strand copper core insulated wires, and each floor or appropriate section uses copper bars or switches above 401, and the knife is connected to the main line to facilitate inspection and maintenance.
(2) The anti-static ground cable should be well insulated with the equipment shell, workbench iron frame, work light frame, etc., to prevent short circuit, overlap or broken skin connection.
(3) At the "trunk end" of the sectional copper bar or switch, another inspection line is laid. (1.5~2m² is enough), each workshop has 2~3 inspection points, which are fixed and clearly marked.
(4) Measurement: use pointer type multimeter, resistance file. Or use ground resistance tester (also called shake meter)
1) The resistance between each anti-static test point and the anti-static ground wire is 5~15Ω, ideally 0Ω. However, the actual measurement is 2mm². The resistance of the wire from the test point to the summary point +6mm², and the wire from the summary point to the measured point The sum of resistance, this value is about 5-15 Ω and basically unchanged.If the measurement result tends to infinity, it is for the anti-static ground wire or the measurement wire has a broken wire, which should be repaired in time.




2) The resistance between the anti-static ground and the equipment ground. This resistance is composed of the line resistance of the anti-static ground wire itself + the line resistance of the equipment ground wire itself + the ground resistance between the two ground wires. However, due to the degree of dryness and wetness of the ground between the two ground wires, The influence of the ground current is very complicated, especially the ground current, the size, direction, frequency, etc. are changing every moment, and it mainly determines the measurement result, so it can only be measured with a pointer meter, and its value is from a dozen ohms to a few hundred K. Normal, it only means that there is no short circuit or open circuit between the two places.
