Is ESD cleaning just for simple contamination removal?

Today I received cleaning photos from relevant personnel of an electronics factory, reflecting problems existing in the cleaning process. Several of them were marked as not being cleaned. I reported this situation to the technical and cleaning supervisors as soon as I got to work. It seems that Customers still have misunderstandings about dust-free clothing cleaning. They simply think that it is just cleaning ordinary clothes to remove pollution. In fact, it is not just that. In order to let more people understand it better, let’s explain it below.
In fact, after cleaning the anti-static clothing, it will not be as white as new, but it will definitely ensure the cleanliness parameters of the dust-free clothing. This is called "purification", although some cleaning units can indeed change the appearance of the customer's dust-free clothing. The cleaning results are "as white as new", but in fact, strong acid and strong alkali detergents are used, and industrial washing machines with strong pulling force are used. The clothes washed out will be clean and beautiful, but for example, anti-static clothes and dust-free clothes For special professional functional work clothes, it will be seriously damaged. Moreover, the conductive threads on the fabric will also be strongly corroded and disintegrated. After a long time, the purification level will be greatly reduced. A common situation at present is that customers are unprofessional and do not understand these situations, which increases a lot of costs that should not be spent.

So from this we can know that the fundamental purpose of cleaning anti-static clothes is not just to remove contamination. Although it looks clean on the outside, it is more important to ensure the clean and dust-free parameters of anti-static work clothes and dust-free clothes. Only in this way can we guarantee The cleanliness of the customer's production environment will not be contaminated, thereby ensuring the production quality of the product.
