With the rapid development of microelectronics technology, the harm caused by static electricity in the manufacturing process is becoming increasingly apparent. Antistatic workwear is designed to precisely meet the requirements of the human body generating static electricity. Therefore, antistatic workwear is an indispensable part of our production process. Choosing the right antistatic workwear fabric is a crucial issue that every company must carefully consider, starting from the nature of the work and its specific needs.
Here are some common antistatic workwear fabrics, along with their characteristics and composition:
1. All-process polyester twill: Clear weave, smooth surface, colorfast, pill-resistant, shrink-resistant, and easy to machine wash. Composition: 20% cotton, 80% polyester.
2. All-process polyester-cotton twill: Clear weave, smooth and thick surface, colorfast, pill-resistant, abrasion-resistant, washable, moisture-wicking, and breathable. Common polyester-cotton twill compositions include 35% cotton, 65% polyester, 20% cotton, and 80% polyester.
3. **Full-Process Polyester Plain Fabric:** Excellent drape, smooth and flat surface, moisture-wicking and breathable, abrasion-resistant and pill-resistant, strong colorfastness, and excellent polyester-cotton blend effect. Composition: 35% cotton, 65% polyester.
4. **100% Cotton Twill:** Clear texture, smooth and thick surface, colorfast, pill-resistant, dimensionally stable, abrasion-resistant and washable, moisture-wicking and breathable, low static electricity, and skin-friendly. Composition: 100% cotton.
5. **Antistatic Silk:** Made from imported conductive fibers and chemical fibers using advanced technology, suitable for conductive industries such as petroleum, chemical, electronics, and coal mining. Composition: Warp: 100D polyester elastic bright yarn + 30D antistatic yarn; Weft: 100D bright yarn, environmentally friendly dyeing.
6. (Thickened/Anti-static) Fine Fabric: This fabric is made of polyester filament interwoven with cotton yarn, with a twill weave. The outer surface offers the wrinkle-resistant and pill-resistant properties of synthetic fibers, while the back retains the comfort, moisture absorption, and breathability of cotton. The composition is 55% polyester fiber and 45% cotton.
