Principle of anti-static overalls to eliminate static electricity
(1) First of all, anti-static overalls refer to work clothes made of anti-static fabrics to prevent static electricity accumulation on anti-static overalls. Anti-static fabrics are fabrics that are roughly evenly or evenly mixed with conductive fibers or anti-static synthetic fibers or a mixture of the two during weaving.
(2) Conductive fibers refer to the general term for fibers made of conductive materials or sub-conductive materials made of metal or organic matter in whole or in part, and their volume resistivity ρv~ is between 104 and 109Ω/cm. According to the distribution of conductive components in the fibers, conductive fibers can be divided into three categories: uniform conductive component type, conductive component covering type, and conductive component composite type. At present, most anti-static fabrics are made of conductive fibers, among which the conductive component composite type, that is, composite fibers, is the most used.

(3) Anti-static overalls made of chemical fiber fabrics with conductive fibers added to them eliminate static electricity based on the leakage and neutralization mechanisms of charges. When grounded, the static electricity on the fabric is not only neutralized by the corona discharge of the conductive fibers, but can also be discharged to the ground through the conductive fibers; when not grounded, the static electricity is eliminated with the help of the weak corona discharge of the conductive fibers.
