Protection Requirements for Anti-static Tweezers and Related Items
Operating tools-such as anti-static brushes, screwdrivers, anti-static tweezers, and shunt bars-as well as workstation racks, should ideally be made of static-dissipative materials; the direct use of metal materials for these tools is not recommended. If metal tools must be used, an ion-stream static eliminator should be considered to prevent electrostatic discharge from charged static-sensitive components to the metal tools, or to prevent the tools from becoming charged via induction due to poor grounding.
The resistance between points on the outer surfaces of anti-static brushes and workstation racks must be less than 10⁹ ohms. Additionally, the static decay time (from ±1000V to ±100V) must be greater than 2 seconds for them to be suitable for use.

The point-to-point resistance of anti-static curtains and tacky mats should fall within the range of 10⁵ to 10¹⁰ ohms. The static decay time (from ±1000V to ±100V) must be greater than 2 seconds for them to be suitable for use.
