Selection of Antistatic Grounding Products
There are many types of antistatic products that utilize grounding methods, such as antistatic flooring and grounding wires. However, in the working environment, the most direct antistatic grounding effect comes from flooring products, such as antistatic flooring and antistatic mats.
Antistatic flooring and antistatic mats also come in various types. Based on their effectiveness, they can be permanent or temporary; based on materials, they can be conductive rubber, PVC, conductive ceramic, etc.; based on the installation method, they can be directly laid on the ground or raised flooring. The choice depends on actual needs and cost. For environments where multiple cables and conduits need to be run on the ground, such as computer rooms, raised flooring is a better choice.
Antistatic mats are mainly made of antistatic composite rubber sheets and are primarily used for matting desktops, assembly line work surfaces, shelves, and making floor mats. The surface layer is grass green, with an antistatic agent as the conductive material; the bottom layer is black, with carbon black as the conductive material.
