Service life of anti-static clothing
The effectiveness of anti-static clothing decreases with the use of time. Its life involves many factors. Establish a suitable service life for anti-static clothing to ensure the quality of products in production. Enterprises can test the washed or used clothing based on experience and actual production conditions to see if their indicators meet the requirements. The recommended replacement cycle for clean clothes is usually one year, and the service life of clean clothes should be confirmed based on the verification results.
Most of the current anti-static clothing in my country is produced according to the GB/T 12014-2009 "anti-static clothing" standard, which emphasizes anti-static performance, but does not have requirements for cleaning performance and microorganisms. In fact, after the clean clothes are cleaned and sterilized after use, the material of the clothes will age, the fibers are easy to break and produce particles, and the local filtration efficiency of the clean clothes will decrease. With the use of clean clothes, its cleaning performance and anti-static performance will be reduced, so the performance evaluation of clean clothes is mainly in two aspects: clean performance and anti-static performance.
IEST-RP-CC003.3 "Clean Room and Related Controlled Environments: Clothing Elements", which is generally recognized in the industry, is a recommended standard for the evaluation of various performances of purification clothing by the American Environmental Science Association. The main content of this standard includes clean clothing system and pollutant control, parameters and characteristics of anti-static fabrics, test methods for fabric cleanliness, test methods for cleanliness of dust-free clothing, and correct use of anti-static clothing.
