Simco 775PVS Electrostatic Discharge Tester
The Simco-Ion 775PVS periodic verification system can replace a flat-plate tester for handheld inspection on the production line, measuring electrostatic charge and verifying the effectiveness of ion generators. It consists of three parts: an electrostatic field meter, a detachable isolation test plate, and a test plate charger.
The electrostatic field meter can also be used independently to measure the electrostatic field present on any surface.
The distance measuring light on the electrostatic field meter ensures accurate and repeatable readings at standard distances. Sampling and holding functions allow it to measure areas inaccessible to other instruments. By installing the isolation test plate and using the test plate charger, the 775PVS periodic verification system can be used to verify the operating parameters of the ion generator – ion balance and dissipation time. The entire product is designed in accordance with the standard ANSI EOS/ESD S3.1-2015 - ESD Association for flat panel testers and follower ion generators (see the comparison chart below). A grounding wire can be used to connect and fix the grounding point to increase measurement accuracy.
