Static electricity has to be prevented
The weather is dry. If you open a machine and it will be cold, you will be electrolyzed. This is static electricity. In the dry season, static electricity is always annoying, and even damages the machine. The reporter interviewed the electrical after-sales manager Ade and the electrician Afeng.

Electrical appliances are not much static
Many people have the illusion that they are "attacked" by static electricity, thinking that they are all caused by the machine. In fact, the human body is the place where the static electricity is most frequent.
"Electrical appliances have less static electricity, and many of them have grounding wires. The static electricity is led away, and people rarely come into contact." Ade said. Our common electrical appliances are two-wire and three-legged. The latter can ensure that the power cord is fixedly connected to the socket, and an extra line also acts as a grounding wire to prevent leakage and static electricity. At present, there is no mandatory standard requiring electric appliances to use three-pronged wire. However, most of the industry has designed and manufactured electrical appliances according to the three-legged wire. Especially for high-powered machines such as air conditioners and rice cookers, the three-legged wire must be used, and most of them have been treated with anti-static treatment. Lighting circuit grounding requirements are higher.
However, many induction cookers and hair dryers have adopted the two-legged design. Ade believes that this is a safety hazard that cannot be ignored. The public should choose the three-legged electrical appliance as much as possible and pay attention to its use.
Maintenance and avoidance of static electricity "statics have the greatest impact on maintenance, welding of circuit boards, components, etc." Ade said that semiconductor ICs are more sensitive to electrostatic reactions, so similar to computers, precision machines, when troubleshooting, will prompt to eliminate the human body Static electricity. Relevant research has found that the human body can reach more than 2KV of static electricity, and if it is not careful, it is possible to destroy the components. Regular repair shops will notice this, but some unlicensed or amateur repair shops are prone to add heat to the machine due to static problems, resulting in more repairs or replacement parts. Most of the machine signs prohibit users from disassembling and repairing their own machines. There are also considerations in this regard.

Distinguish between leakage and static electricity
It is also electrically connected, and leakage and static electricity can also be distinguished. In general, the voltage is above 36V, the human body can feel it. Whether it is leakage or not, it depends on electrical conductors and resistors. Many machines, such as power amplifiers, air conditioners, computers, etc., use a metal casing design, and the power cord or the ground connection in the machine is loose, even if it has been disconnected, it is easy to happen. Leakage accident.
Electrician A Feng said that many electrical appliances will have safety leakage, that is, voltage below 36V, which is an allowable range. When the human body touches the machine, the static electricity only produces an instant feeling to the human body. Therefore, the voltage of 2KV acts on the human body, and it will not have much influence; but the leakage is a process that does not interrupt, regardless of the length of contact, the per capita feels When it is charged, the higher the voltage, the more intense it feels. "Of course, I don't advocate using the human body to verify whether it is static or leaking. It is better to use an electric pen to measure."
Anti-static method
It is not difficult to prevent static electricity from adversely affecting the human body and home appliances. The most effective way is to increase the humidity of the environment. You can use a humidifier. By the way, you can use a hygrometer to control the humidity above 50. Add an anti-static tube to the entrance of the electrical parts that the human body touches. Generally, the device like the power amplifier is the easiest. Introduce static electricity; use pure cotton products as much as possible; use the heterogeneous ions generated by the static eliminator to neutralize the charge of the charged body, and may make the surface of the electrical appliance smooth and the surrounding environment cleaner, thus reducing the possibility of tip discharge.
