The concepts of anti-static clothing and dust-free clothing should be distinguished
People working in factories know that wearing anti-static clothing can not only effectively release the static electricity of the body, but also have a certain dust-proof effect, and can also prevent static electricity from causing harm to the body. Do you know why it has a dust-proof effect? It is because the static electricity is released that dust is not easy to adsorb, so it has a good dust-proof effect. However, there is still a difference in the concept between anti-static clothing and dust-free clothing.
The fabric used to make anti-static clothing is a fiber with conductive wire added to it, but it cannot isolate the dust generated by the human body. It can ensure that the body and the ground are always conductors, avoiding the accumulation of static electricity through friction on the soles of the feet. Anti-static clothing is generally used in electronic equipment workshops that are extremely sensitive to electric fields and can also reduce the adsorption of fine particles. The difference between dust-free clothing and anti-static clothing is that it can prevent fine particles such as dust, dandruff or hair on the body from radiating into the clean room, and has a dust-free function. It is generally more common in microelectronics and biological laboratories.

Anti-static clothing is mainly to prevent the adsorption of dust inside the workshop. Cleanroom clothing is mainly used to prevent the dust on the body from contaminating the cleanroom, so anti-static clothing cannot be used as cleanroom clothing.
