The use and maintenance of anti-static work clothes

Anti-static clothing should also be maintained while wearing it. Reasonable use of anti-static clothing can prolong its service life. Manufacturers should regularly test and clean anti-static clothing. Class A anti-static work clothes are required to be cleaned more than 100 times, and class B anti-static work clothes are required to be cleaned more than 50 times. During the cleaning process, the degree of damage to the conductive fibers of the anti-static work clothes should be as small as possible.

1. Under normal circumstances, in places where explosive gas mixtures appear continuously, frequently in a short period of time or exist for a long time, and where explosive gas mixtures may appear, when the minimum ignition energy of combustibles is below 0.25 mJ, wearing Use anti-static overalls.
2. It is forbidden to wear and take off anti-static work clothes in flammable and explosive places.
3. It is forbidden to attach or wear any metal objects on the anti-static work clothes. The tools that need to be carried should have anti-static and anti-spark functions; hardware tools should be placed on the metal parts that are prohibited from being exposed in anti-static work clothes.
4. When wearing anti-static clothing, it should also be used with anti-static shoes, and the ground should also be a conductive floor.
5. Anti-static work clothes should be kept clean to maintain anti-static performance. After use, use a soft brush or soft cloth dipped in neutral detergent to scrub, and the fibers of the clothing should not be damaged.
6. After wearing for a period of time, the anti-static clothing should be inspected. If the electrostatic performance does not meet the standard requirements, it can no longer be used as anti-static work clothes.
7. Before wearing the anti-static work clothes purchased in batches, several pieces should be randomly selected to test the charge level. After wearing for a certain period of time, especially when the wearer feels an electric shock when undressing, a retest should be carried out.
8. It is recommended to use neutral detergent for anti-static work clothes. Do not mix with other clothes when washing. Use hand washing or washing machine soft washing procedures to avoid conductive fibers from breaking. The washing water temperature should be below 40°C, and clean water at room temperature should be used for rinsing. The washing time should be as short as possible, but it must be fully rinsed to remove residual detergent. Do not use bleaching powder or organic solvents to decontaminate anti-static overalls with flame-retardant and oil-proof properties.
