Precautions for measuring static electricity:

(1) Use easy-to-use and reliable measuring instruments. In explosion-hazardous areas, explosion-proof measuring instruments should be used.

(2) Read the instrument instructions carefully before measuring to understand its measurement principle and scope of use.

(3) Adjust the sensitivity and select the range before measuring.

(4) Measure and analyze the risk of detonation caused by measurement. Measure after eliminating the risk of ignition; and consider emergency measures in advance in case of accidents.

(5) To prevent discharge during measurement, the probe of the measuring instrument should be slowly brought close to the charged object. This applies even to explosion-proof instruments.

(6) The same item should be measured several times, and the average and maximum values ​​should be taken when reproducibility is good.
