What is the electrostatic discharge?
First, the cause of static electricity:
Any substance is composed of atoms, and the basic structure of atoms is protons, neutrons, and electrons. Scientists define protons as positive, neutrons without electricity, and electrons with negative charge. Under normal conditions, the number of protons of an atom is the same as the number of electrons, and the positive and negative balances, so the external phenomenon shows no charge. However, due to external effects such as friction or in the form of various energies such as kinetic energy, potential energy, thermal energy, chemical energy, etc., the positive and negative electric currents of the atoms are unbalanced.
Static electricity is formed by the redistribution of charges caused by friction, and redistribution of charges due to mutual attraction of charges. Under normal circumstances, the positive charge of the nucleus is equal to the negative charge of the electron, positive and negative balance, so it is not sensible. However, if the electrons are out of orbit by external force, resulting in unbalanced electron distribution, such as the fact that frictional electrification is a process that causes a positive and negative charge imbalance. When two different objects touch each other and rub against each other, the electrons of one object are transferred to another, and they are positively charged due to lack of electrons.

Second, why do people have static electricity on their bodies:
When the human body is moving, the skin is rubbed against the clothes and between the clothes and the clothes, and static electricity is generated. With the increase of household appliances and the wearing of chemical fiber clothes in winter, the static electric charge generated by household appliances will be absorbed and accumulated by the human body. 1. Anti-static clothing and wrist strap, heel strap
