Anti-static workbench
Static electricity can not be seen or touched. The voltage of several thousand volts can cause fatal injuries to delicate and small electronic parts! Static protection must be meticulous and meticulous, and the grounding of the antistatic workbench becomes the top priority.




The anti-static workbench is basically made of metal materials, and the countertops are anti-static mats or anti-static fireproof boards, which have good grounding measures and excellent anti-static performance.
1. The principle is actually very simple. On the basis of the ordinary workbench that can satisfy users, the antistatic workbench has added the antistatic function, that is, how to discharge the static electricity.
2. The anti-static work table is generally composed of anti-static melamine high-pressure decorative laminate, commonly known as anti-static fire-proof board, as a surface material, which is compounded with wood materials. Wood materials are generally particle boards, which are embedded in electrical conductors, such as steel posts, and grounded through a ground wire. This way, the static charge on the desktop can be smoothly discharged to the ground through the connection wire.
3. There are also some worktables made of stainless steel. The tabletop needs to be laid with an antistatic pad. The pad is connected to the ground through a ground wire to achieve the effect of discharging static electricity.
The point-to-point resistance test on the surface of the anti-static workbench should comply with the national electronics industry standard SJ / T10694-2006. When testing the static leakage resistance of the workbench, one electrode is in good contact with the bench pad, and the other electrode (clip) is connected to the workbench ground wire (or wristband jack).
