Antistatic ESD Rubber Sheet Flooring Installation Steps

Base Floor Preparation: Ensure the base floor is a smooth cement, terrazzo, tile, or wood floor. The floor must be flat, without significant unevenness. The floor should have sufficient strength, be free of sanding and peeling, and must be dry.

Cleaning the Floor: Use cleaning solution or xylene to remove any debris from the floor.

Laying the Grounding Conductive Mesh: Lay copper strips for the grounding conductive mesh, 0.02mm thick and 20mm wide. The quantity and length of the copper strips should be determined based on the actual width of the floor. The copper strips should be perpendicular to the antistatic rubber sheet, with a spacing of 1-2m. Simultaneously, lead one end of the copper strips to the outdoor grounding electrode.

Laying the Antistatic Rubber Sheet: After the grounding conductive mesh is laid, place the antistatic rubber sheets on the floor one by one. If the gaps between the antistatic rubber sheets are too large, use a knife to cut them straight to reduce the gaps. Fold the edges of the laid antistatic rubber sheets onto the platform mat, and apply glue to the gaps.

Drying and bonding: Allow the antistatic rubber sheet to dry for 20-30 minutes, until it is no longer sticky to the touch. Then, bond the bottom of the antistatic rubber sheet to the ground and roll it several times with a heavy roller to make the surface of the antistatic rubber sheet neat and flat.
