Common Causes of Static Electricity Damage
1. Lack of Anti-static Product Testing Instruments: The most common mistake is the lack of commonly used testing instruments. Many companies purchase numerous anti-static products but fail to acquire essential testing equipment, such as surface resistance testers, electrostatic voltage testers, and SL-031 human body comprehensive testing instruments. We know that every product has a limited lifespan, and quality varies. Without these instruments, we cannot determine product damage or quality, thus hindering effective anti-static protection.

2. Improper Grounding Connection:
A. Anti-static systems must have independent and reliable grounding devices (also called anti-static grounding engineering). The grounding resistance should generally be less than 10Ω, and the installation and testing methods should comply with GBJ97 requirements. (Our company has a strong anti-static grounding construction team, and our anti-static grounding is guaranteed for 10 years.)
B. Anti-static grounding wires must not be connected to the power supply neutral wire and must not be shared with lightning protection grounding wires. Lightning strikes and other phenomena can affect product performance and personal safety through the circuit. Note: This is a particularly important point to be aware of!
C. A three-phase five-wire power supply system is used, and the earth wire can be used as the anti-static ground wire (but the neutral and ground wires must not be mixed).
D. The cross-sectional area of the main grounding conductor should be no less than 100 mm²; the cross-sectional area of the branch conductors should be no less than 6 mm²; the grounding wires for equipment and workbenches should use multi-strand plastic-coated conductors with a cross-sectional area of no less than 1.25 mm², and the grounding wire color should preferably be yellow-green.
E. The connection method for the main grounding conductor should be electric welding.
F. The connection terminals of anti-static equipment should ensure reliable contact and easy installation and removal; various clamp-type connectors, such as snap-fit clips and plug sockets, are permitted.
G. Workplaces with high requirements for grounding resistance values should install a grounding system monitoring and alarm device (SL-038A grounding system monitoring and alarm device).
