How to Install an Anti-Static Workbench
The installation process for an anti-static workbench is straightforward and easy to manage.
1) Determine the required dimensions for the anti-static mat based on your operational needs. Thoroughly clean both the top and bottom surfaces of the mat, as well as all individual components, using alcohol.

2) Lay foil strips along the underside of the anti-static mat; the foil strips should only overlap at the fold points. Install the snap fasteners (studs) by pressing them through from the top side of the mat-ensuring they pass through both the mat and the foil strips-to establish a reliable electrical connection.

3) Lay the prepared anti-static mat flat onto the workbench surface. Determine the coverage area for any anti-static floor mats based on the range of movement of the operators, and position the workbench on top of the floor mat.
4) Ground the anti-static workbench: connect both the workbench mat and the floor mat to the grounding system. Use a multi-strand flexible copper wire (or cable) with a cross-sectional area of at least 2 mm², incorporating a 1 MΩ resistor in series for each connection. Once installation is complete, it is recommended to perform a thorough inspection before putting the workbench into use.
