Human body static electricity
The static electricity of the human body is static electricity which is attached to the human body due to friction between the clothes on the human body and the like. The generation of static electricity is caused by the insufficient attraction of the nucleus to the outer electrons, which causes the electrons to be lost under the action of friction or other factors, thereby causing the negative charge of the friction material (that is, the negative charge of the electrons is obtained, and the positive charge is lost. The positive charge of electrons). In the case of better insulation properties of the friction material, these charges cannot be lost and will accumulate. Moreover, the capacitance of the insulator is extremely poor, resulting in a situation in which the amount of charge is not large but the voltage is high.

Clothing made of chemical fibers is more prone to static electricity, while cotton clothing produces less. And because the dry environment is more conducive to the transfer and accumulation of charge, people in the winter will feel that the static electricity on the body is larger.
Under different humidity conditions, the electrostatic potential generated by human activities is different. In the dry season, the body's static electricity can reach several thousand volts or even tens of thousands of volts. The experiment proves that when the electrostatic voltage is 50,000 volts, the human body has no discomfort, and there is no danger to life when carrying 120,000 volts of high-voltage static electricity. However, electrostatic discharges also generate electromagnetic fields around them, albeit for a short duration, but are very strong. Researchers are studying the effects of electrostatic electromagnetic fields on the human body.
There are several easy ways to avoid static buildup:
First, go to the natural environment. If you have the conditions, exercise barefoot on the ground, because the common soles are all insulators, and the body can't directly contact the earth, so it can't release the static electricity accumulated on the body.
Second, try to wear chemical fiber clothing as little as possible, or use anti-static clothing. For personal clothes and bedding, you must use pure cotton products or silk products. At the same time, stay away from chemical fiber carpets.
Third, it is necessary to maintain a certain indoor humidity in autumn and winter, so that static electricity is not easy to accumulate. Put a basin of water or place some flowers in the room to relieve static accumulation and dust adsorption in the air.
Fourth, after using the computer for a long time or watching TV, it is necessary to clean the exposed skin in time, wash your hands and wash your face frequently, which is good for eliminating static electricity on the skin.
Fifth, drink plenty of water, while supplementing calcium and vitamin C, to reduce the impact of static electricity on people.
