Importance of wearing anti-static socks
Anti-static shoes are often used in microelectronics production workshops such as electronic microelectronics production workshops and electronic communication equipment. Many people mistakenly believe that wearing anti-static shoes can pass the anti-static test without wearing anti-static socks, but in summer, women often wear nylon stockings, and men like to wear sweat-absorbing cotton socks, which often fail to pass the anti-static test.
When the anti-static test cannot be passed, some people often think that the quality of the anti-static shoes is not up to standard. Why is this? Because wearing cotton socks and nylon socks is easy to sweat on the feet, and human sweat contains salt, which can conduct electricity, so it can pass the test, but if people who have just put on or rarely sweat cannot pass the anti-static test.
After wearing anti-static work socks, wearing anti-static work shoes can pass the test. This shows that anti-static work shoes and anti-static socks are indispensable in the human anti-static system. Socks should be thin nylon socks or conductive fiber socks, not wool or chemical fiber socks. If insoles are needed, insoles with conductive threads should be used.
