Installation method of anti-static grounding wire and pad

Want to use an anti-static grounding wire? For ESD safety stations, the concept of grounding is to make all conductors at the same potential, so that the potential difference between the two conductors is minimized. Since the power ground and the ground are always in the control area, it is the most convenient connection point. If the anti-static wrist and the ESD table pad are connected to the same grounding point, they have the same potential, which is the correct installation method. The anti-static wrist is first connected to the ESD table mat, then passes through the table mat, then passes through the table mat diagonally, and finally is grounded. When connected in this way, the table mat has an additional series impedance (resistance or capacitance) to the ground. Sometimes, the operator It can be at a different potential than grounded desktop equipment or ESD-sensitive equipment on the bench pad. Grounding wire, each socket has 1M ohm resistance; can achieve 0M ohm resistance; black and blue PVC insulation layer; 10 feet of grounding wire.
The specific installation method is as follows:
1. Lay the anti-static table mat on the workbench, and install the anti-static grounding wire on the corner of the workbench;
2. Cut a small opening on the anti-static table mat and insert it with the star claw part of the ground wire. The star claw must be fastened to the anti-static table mat;
3. The other end of the anti-static grounding wire is a fish clip to clamp the anti-static grounding bus;
4. Measure whether the anti-static grounding wire, anti-static table mat and the ground are connected, and the test passes, that is, the anti-static grounding device is basically completed
