Ion fan test indicators to measure

In ESD protection places, ion fans are indispensable to eliminate static electricity, so how can we judge whether the ion fan's static elimination work is effective and can meet the standard? This requires the use of testing instruments to test the ion fans regularly.
The main indicators to measure the performance of ion fans are: static elimination speed, ion balance (final residual voltage) and overall stability:
1. According to the test standard ANSI/ESD STM3.1-2000 of the ESD Association, the static elimination speed refers to the time required for static electricity to be neutralized from ±1000V to ±100V. The faster the speed, the better the performance;
2. The residual voltage value after the static electricity is neutralized within the specified time (usually 20S) is the ion balance, and the ion balance is close to zero for superior performance. The test point of the desktop ion fan is: 30cm directly in front; the test point of the suspended ion fan is: 45cm directly below,
3. Use the static eliminator to detect the analyzer to judge the stability of the performance indicators of the whole machine
In order to ensure that the ion fan can ensure a good static elimination speed and ion balance after a long time of work, the material selection and manufacturing process have been carefully studied, with good intentions, and the imported high-voltage transformer, its coil and The inter-turn distance and coupling coefficient of the steel sheet have very precise requirements and control. The immersion and fixation of the transformer also adopts special materials and processes to ensure that the performance indicators do not drift to the greatest extent.
