The necessity of electrostatic precipitator ion fan in the LED industry



In the display processing industries such as mobile phones, computers, and liquid crystal displays, ion fans often play an extremely important role. The dust removal and static removal functions of the ion fan greatly improve the quality of the product and ensure the normal operation of the production line.
In a series of processing processes of the display, almost every process such as acid engraving, cleaning, drying, friction, powder spraying, crystal filling, laminating, cutting, etc. requires an ion fan to remove static electricity and dust. Because the adsorption of static electricity will cause defects and scrap, the ion fan must be purchased with front and rear windows and can be opened, so that it is convenient to clean the ion fan once a week. In this way, secondary pollution caused by ionization corrosion at the tip of the ion fan can be avoided.
After the traditional ion fan has been used for a period of time, if it cannot be cleaned in time, every subsequent start-up will cause it to cause secondary pollution.
The ion fan not only has front and rear windows that can be opened, but the most important thing is that it can be cleaned automatically without manual cleaning. Therefore, it is generally recognized by the public in the industry.
Analysis on three methods of removing static electricity:
1. Leakage law
It is through a certain kind of conductor to transfer the accumulated static electricity to eliminate static electricity, but if it is an insulator, this method is ineffective.
2. Wet method
Humidification method is to increase the humidity of the environment to achieve the purpose of removing static points. According to related experiments, when the humidity in the air is above 65% RH, the electrostatic voltage can be reduced by about 10 times. Although this method is very fast, the processing of some products requires environmental humidity. Too much humidity will affect product quality and performance.
3. Ion fan in addition to static electricity
The ion fan uses high voltage to ionize the air with high voltage and then generates positive and negative ions, and then blows to the surface of the object through the fan to neutralize the static electricity, so that the static electricity can be removed more thoroughly and the effect is very stable. In addition, it does not require environmental requirements and is highly controllable.
