Key points for purchasing anti-static wristbands

Core selection criteria
Priority of usage scenarios
Professional scenarios (electronics factories/laboratories): You must choose a wired wristband, and ensure reliable grounding (such as connecting an anti-static floor mat or a standard ground wire socket), and the grounding resistance is controlled at about 1 megohm. Wireless wristbands cannot meet industrial-grade protection needs.
Daily life (anti-static clothing/car door): Wireless wristbands can be selected, but they need to be used with humidification or pure cotton clothing to reduce static electricity, and the effect is limited.
Performance indicators
Surface resistivity: Products with a nominal value of ≤1×10⁶Ω/sq are preferred. The smaller the value, the stronger the conductivity.
Discharge speed: Professional models should complete discharge within 0.1 seconds (actual measurement, such as Belkin industrial-grade wristbands).
Certification logo: Look for industry certifications such as ISO11452-2 and ESD S20.20 to avoid choosing products without clear test reports.
When choosing according to needs, if you need to take into account both professional protection and reliability, give priority to wired grounding models; for daily light use, wireless bracelets can be used as supplementary tools, but the expected effect needs to be reduced.
