Operating specifications for wrist strap testers
Electrostatic ring, a device that is worn on the wrist of a human body and vents the body to accumulate electrostatic charges. It is divided into a wired type and a wireless type, and has a metal ring and an elastic conductive wire mixed ring. How to detect the quality of anti-static wrist strap?
1. Put on the wrist strap and keep the wrist strap in good contact with the human body. Insert the wrist strap plug into the tester wrist strap jack;
2. Press and hold the "PUSH ON" button to test;
3. The green “PASS” LED indicates that the wrist strap is functioning properly; the red “LO” LED indicates that the resistance of the wrist strap after passing the wrist is lower than the lower limit of 750K, which may be a short circuit; the yellow “HI” LED indicates that the wrist strap passes the wrist. The resistance value is higher than the upper limit of 10M. When the above test fails, the tester should immediately check whether the wrist strap is well worn and retest. If the test is still unqualified, the wrist strap should be replaced and retested.
Note: 1. When testing by test button, the test state should be maintained until the test is completed (time is less than 1.0 second);
2. During the test, there may be a phenomenon that the “LO” LED is lighted first and accompanied by an alarm sound. This is normal, and the result is based on the last stable and continuously lit LED;

1. The connection of the wrist strap to the grounding wire. 2. Contact impedance between the wrist strap and the skin.
