Principle and function of anti-static wristband
I. Principle
Mechanism of electrostatic conduction
The electrostatic charge of the human body is transferred to the wristband through contact with the skin through conductive materials (such as metal contacts, conductive fibers).
Following the law of potential difference balance, the charge flows from high potential (human body) to low potential (conductive wristband).
Ground discharge design
The wired wristband is connected to the grounding device (such as metal desktop, ground wire) through a wire, and the static electricity is slowly released to the ground through a 1MΩ-10MΩ resistor to avoid current shock and damage to electronic components.
The grounding resistance range meets international standards to ensure safety and effectiveness.
Anti-electric shock protection
The resistance value design not only ensures static discharge, but also prevents the human body from direct contact with strong current.

II. Function
Eliminate human static electricity : Reduce the human body static voltage from thousands of volts to a safe range (<100V) within 0.1 seconds to avoid static electricity accumulation.
Protect sensitive equipment : Prevent static discharge from breaking through electronic components (such as chips, circuit boards) and reduce product damage rate.
Application scenarios
Electronic manufacturing : SMT patches, semiconductor packaging and other links to protect precision components.
Laboratory and maintenance : When operating high-precision instruments or repairing electronic equipment, prevent electrostatic interference or secondary damage.
Flammable and explosive environment : Reduce the risk of accidents caused by static sparks.
Key points for use
Grounding reliability : It is necessary to ensure that the wire is connected to an effective grounding device, otherwise static electricity cannot be released.
Wearing specifications : The wristband must be close to the skin to avoid failure due to poor contact.
3. Purchase and verification recommendations
Prefer wired bracelets : The grounding design has been verified by experiments and the stability is better than wireless products.
Test conductivity : The resistance value of the bracelet can be tested by a multimeter to see if it meets the 1MΩ-10MΩ standard.
