Solution to static electricity in computer rooms
Static electricity in computer rooms can affect the normal operation of the entire computer system, especially in dry and cold seasons, when people wear wool and chemical fiber products, which are more likely to generate static electricity.
In this case, people should take some static protection measures to prevent static electricity.
1. The ground wire of the power supply used by computer equipment must be well grounded. It is recommended to use a three-hole power socket, and of course, the power cord
must also be three-pin. Some friends use a wire to connect the chassis surface to the earth or water pipe, but this method does not
achieve good results. If there is no grounding equipment, when we touch the board with our hands, we must touch the water pipe or the wet ground with our hands to discharge the static electricity on our bodies, and avoid discharging the board when touching the board,
causing damage to the board.
2. For the safety of computer equipment, schools or other units with conditions must lay anti-static floors or anti-static mats in computer classrooms when using computers collectively. Ordinary chemical fiber carpets must not be used. This is the most effective way to prevent static electricity.
